Our Work
At Noonday Farms, we are dedicated to creating a lasting impact by growing fresh, nutritious food, harvesting surplus produce, and delivering hope and companionship to those in need. Through community partnerships and volunteer efforts, we aim to address hunger, build connections, and strengthen our community.

Farming
At Noonday Farms, we are passionate about growing fresh, nutritious food—and we do this through our growing network of neighborhood gardens. It all started with our pilot project garden at Farmer Amy’s, and we’ve recently expanded to a second site at Grace Northridge Anglican Church. Our goal is to equip volunteer Noonday Farmers with the tools and resources needed to grow produce for our homebound and food-insecure neighbors. Noonday Farmers can include families, community garden groups, or congregations. If you’re interested in becoming a Noonday Farmer, complete the form below.
Home Delivery
Noonday Farms provides fresh, local produce to homebound and food-insecure community members on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, tailored to household needs. Each delivery includes assistance with unpacking, a friendly conversation, an act of service, and a check-in to address any additional needs. Volunteers make this service possible, interested in volunteering?

Gleaning
Gleaning is the practice of collecting surplus crops from fields after the primary harvest to provide food for those in need. Rooted in Biblical tradition, this act of gathering what’s left behind has long supported the poor, widows, and orphans. Noonday Farms brings this enduring practice into the modern era by collaborating with local farms, gardens, and organizations to harvest viable surplus produce.
Becoming a Noonday Farmer is one way to live out this vision. Whether you’re tending a raised bed in your backyard or a shared plot at your church, growing your own produce and donating your surplus becomes an act of compassion—and a tangible way to feed your neighbors. The fruits and vegetables gathered through this network of growers serve as a vital source of nourishment for our homebound and food-insecure community members.
